Thank you for your interest in my work. I provide a diverse array of services related but beyond simply writing such as event planning, resume building, graphic design, and copyediting. However, please note that these are not all the skills I possess and I am always ready to learn more. Feel free to have a look around and contact me with any questions or concerns.
Event Planning
Here are two instances in which I planned events for different organizations. I have prior experience fully arranging events for Thread Literary Inquiry. Additionally, I have previous experience working with a team to plan out events for both the Hispanic Heritage Committee and Residency Hall Council.
Harry Potter Trivia Night

Being the president of the organization, I spearheaded this event to recruit new members. Additionally, while I did delegate some responsibilities, I supervised all aspects of the event. These duties included getting the event approved, allocating a budget, creating the presentation for trivia questions, getting a suitable prize, advertising the event, designing flyers, managing the concessions, reserving the room, as well as setup/cleanup.
Hispanic Heritage Kickoff

This project includes multiple brainstorm sessions with the group. We had to come up with decor that included both school colors and HHM colors, design and execute two activities, figure out prizes, plan food, reserve venue, and rent out entertainment materials like a DJ and photo booth. All of this also had to be done with a certain budget. For more information, here was our itinerary.
Resume Building
Here are resumes that I have created for different clients. Similar to graphic design, I have experience using different design programs to create resumes beyond just using a template. I can make sure that the style of format fits the job type that the client aims to achieve. Additionally, I use SEO words as well as a neat format so that the candidate is fully optimized for their desired career or internship.

Graphic Design
I can design creative or informative executions for event promotion, infographics, advertisements, flyers, social media graphics, etc. I have experience using Canva, InDesign, and have played around with Photoshop. Copy Editing
Along with writing, I have a similar amount of experience editing. I have done both copyedits for my own work and work submitted by others (whether that is creative, professional, or technical writing). Listed below are instances of the two different types of edits that I have done.
Content Writing: Self Edits
While writing content for The Odyssey Online, I had an Editor in Chief that reviewed our work before publication. However, while the EIC did give us notes, each writer had self-edit and proofread their own articles before publication. In this, I would produce and finalize one to two articles a week.
Publication: Submission Edits
Being an editor for Thread Literary Inquiry, I have experience reviewing and picking out submissions for publications. Additionally, once those submissions are chosen, the work goes through an editing process with all the editors on staff. For Thread Vol. 12, I was given a stack of pieces to get consent from the writers, edit, and then finalize. For Vol. 13, I acted as both an editor and a reviewer of the the final edits made by my staff before the books get published.
